These terms and conditions apply to the Matias Karsikas webstore and all orders made through it. By placing an order, you accept these terms. We recommend that you read these terms carefully before placing an order. The terms may be updated from time to time, and the updated terms take effect once published on the website.

The online store offers handcrafted, unique artworks. Each piece is one-of-a-kind.
4. Prices and Payment
4.1 Prices
All prices are listed in euros and include Finnish VAT (10%). For orders made from outside the EU, a 0% VAT rate applies. Any customs duties and taxes are the responsibility of the customer, according to the regulations of the destination country.
4.2 Payment Methods
Payments are processed via Stripe. We accept all major credit cards, and transactions are carried out over secure connections. Stripe's terms and privacy policies are available on their website.
5. Delivery
5.1 Delivery
Delivery is included in the price of the artwork.
5.2 Delivery to Finland
Delivery is handled through Posti or DHL Express.
Alternatively, you can pick up your order from Matias Karsikas' studio in Helsinki. You will receive a notification by email when your order is ready for collection. Pickup times are arranged separately.
5.3 Delivery to Europe
Delivered via DHL Express. Delivery time varies between 2–7 business days depending on the destination.
5.4 Delivery Outside Europe
Delivered via DHL Express. Delivery time ranges from 2–8 business days depending on the destination.
5.5 Special Notes
If the artwork is part of an ongoing exhibition, it will be shipped after the exhibition has ended.
6. Order Confirmation
All orders made on the website constitute a binding agreement between the customer and Matias Karsikas. The order confirmation will be sent by email once the order has been accepted.
7. Returns and Complaints
7.1 Returns
If you wish to return a work ordered from the online store, you must notify us within 14 days of receiving the work. The return notification should be made via email, and your order number must be included in the message. We will send you further instructions in reply. The cost of the return is the responsibility of the customer.

Please note that works purchased physically from an exhibition or Matias Karsikkas’ studio are not eligible for return.
7.2 Damages and Complaints
If the artwork is damaged during transport, please contact us within 1–3 days of receipt, including photos of the damage and the packaging.
8. Privacy Policy
We are committed to protecting your privacy. We handle personal data in accordance with data protection laws.
9. Intellectual Property Rights
All content on the website, including images and texts, is protected by copyright. The content may not be used without permission from Matias Karsikas.
10. Applicable Law and Dispute Resolution
These terms and conditions are governed by Finnish law. All disputes will be resolved in Finnish courts. Matias Karsikas follows the recommendations of the Finnish Consumer Disputes Board.
